WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
COVER ME, INC.
This is a waiver and release of certain legal rights. READ IT CAREFULLY.I am choosing to have Cover Me, Inc. provide me with materials so I can wrap my firearm with an image that I have chosen. I acknowledge that Cover Me did not screen or otherwise censor the image, but that I chose the image because I believe that it will discourage me from using the firearm to harm myself or others. I understand that firearms, if used inappropriately, can cause injury. I also understand that Cover Me cannot guarantee that the image will prevent me or anyone else from using the firearm to injure others. I fully understand that Cover Me has not tried to contradict or minimize my understanding of these risks. I understand the risks of owning and using a firearm, and acknowledge that my choice to have Cover Me send me a wrap for my firearm does not increase those risks.
In consideration for Cover Me providing me with a wrap for my firearm with an image that I have chosen to discourage me from using the firearm to harm myself or others, I confirm my agreement that:
- RELEASE OF LIABILITY – To the fullest extent allowed by law, I intend to and agree to WAIVE AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY Cover Me and its officers, directors, employees and agents on account of, or in any way resulting from, death, personal injury, and property damage relating to Cover Me providing me with a wrap for my firearm, even if caused by the NEGLIGENCE of Cover Me or its respective officers, directors, employees and agents. Such negligence could involve the negligent hiring, training and supervision of staff or volunteers. I understand and intend that this assumption of risk and release is binding upon me and my heirs, personal representatives and assigns. Nothing in this document shall be construed as a release of any reckless or intentional conduct of Cover Me or its officers, directors, employees or agents.
- I acknowledge that there are other providers of wraps for firearms that I could use if I did not wish to sign this waiver. I hereby waive any right I may have to bargain for different terms of this waiver and recognize that a narrower waiver could increase the costs related to my participation.
- I understand the risks inherent in using firearms. I also understand that by providing a wrap for my firearm, Cover Me is intending to discourage me from using the firearm to injure myself or others.
If I am a civilian ordering, I understand that the intention of ordering GunSkins is not to intervene in an act of harm against myself but simply to raise awareness.
